Job description

Leading Pharmaceutical Consultancy based in sleek new offices in central London are currently recruiting an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the CEO and Director of Corporate Affairs & Strategy. Your role will be pivotal in providing a seamless EA support to the CEO whilst working closely with the Corporate Communications team (10), creating a synergy between both.

You will join a highly successful, sociable, collaborative team in a company that values diversity, inclusion, employee well-being and encourage self-development and career progression. The CEO and Director are both experts in their respective fields, highly intelligent and inspiring, both value a strong rapport with their EA, encouraging involvement in projects, client events, attending briefings and inputting your ideas along with stakeholder engagement both internal and external. There is huge scope to shape your role and progress into policy and or communications. The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and an excellent benefits package!!

Duties
  • Extensive diary management
  • Coordinating high profile meetings
  • Inbox management, processing expenses, coordinating travel and itineraries (UK and abroad)
  • Preparing and proof-reading documents and correspondence at a high level
  • Liaising with key stakeholders including press, PR and government officials
  • Understanding the political and policy landscape to manage the CEO’s briefings/diary accordingly
  • Proactively liaise with members or the association at Board
  • Collaborate with the events and communications team to organise annual conferences
  • Attend high profile briefings/meetings, write up agenda points for the senior leadership team
  • Collaborate with internal EAs to deliver a seamless communication process
  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiencies within the admin function
  • Organise member meetings, monthly forums, liaising with external speakers
  • Updating CRM system with key contact information members/stakeholders
Ideal candidate
  • 5-6 years’ experience at C-suite (CEO) and Director level
  • Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare/Charity/Trade Association/Communications/media relations or government affairs backgrounds ideal
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing agendas
  • Willingness to support all across the company
  • Demonstrate trust and confidentiality
