IT Support Technician

Based in Hursley, Hampshire

4-year contract ending 31/03/2030.

£325.00pd (Inside IR35)

This plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain processes. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various tasks related to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain principles.

Important Notice: This role is a 12-hour shift pattern, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. The pattern will be 4 days on, and 4 days off. This role is on-site at Hursley.

Required Skills
  • Clearance of SC and NPPV3 or are eligible for it.
  • To handle incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.
  • Management of personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.
  • Provide updates and ensure ongoing customer communication is maintained.
  • Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries.
  • Escalation of calls to 3rd Line Team as necessary.
  • To work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of Engineers.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Work with other internal teams (3rd Line Technical Delivery Teams, Development, Projects, etc.)
  • Perform software builds/re-builds on PCs and laptops as required.
  • Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to client hardware.
