Job summary

A ventilation/duct management specialist is seeking a Duct Hygiene Engineer to conduct inspections and cleaning of ductwork systems in the South East regions, including Guildford and Woking. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in duct hygiene and relevant knowledge of TR19 guidelines. This position offers a salary range of £25k to £40k along with training, benefits, and a company vehicle. A hardworking attitude and good literacy skills are essential. Travel to various client sites is required.

Salary and Benefits

£25k – £40k + training & benefits; includes company vehicle, overtime, pension scheme.

About the Company

Recruiting for a privately‑owned ventilation/duct management specialist with a busy South East portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Attend client sites to conduct inspections and cleaning of ductwork, kitchen extract, AHU and canopy systems/components.
  • Diagnose system errors and determine remedial actions.
  • Fit new access doors, reset mechanisms, and test fire dampers.
  • Interpret technical drawings.
  • Keep accurate records of works completed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Arrange your own diary to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Good track record as a Duct Hygiene Engineer.
  • Working knowledge of TR19 guidelines; BS9999 familiarity beneficial.
  • Experience with Fire Dampers and BS9999 standards desirable.
  • Willingness to travel in line with company requirements.
  • Hardworking attitude.
  • Good literacy and IT skills.
