Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a Drivers mateto join our team inNorthampton. You’llbe responsible for working as a two-person crew delivering on our Kitchens & Bathrooms contract with thepassion to deliver excellent Customer Service for Wickes.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Tuesday to Saturday contracted to 45 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Support delivery drivers by loading/unloading heavy goods (like furniture/appliances)
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries, getting signatures, and ensuring items are correctly placed
  • Assist with vehicle safety checks and ensure the load is secure for transport
  • Help find addresses, navigate routes, and ensure correct delivery to the customer's home
  • Assist throughout the delivery and collection process
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous experience as a driver’s mate would be desirable
  • Excellent customer service is essential to the role
