Job Description

Based at Unit G Charles Bowman Avenue, hours are casual working in the community Meal service as a delivery drive, and this is usually allocated in advance or adhoc (if perhaps the service is needing extra staff or covering absences).

The Community Meal service provides adults in Dundee a meal at lunch time and at tea time, some adults are at risk and require the meal to support with nutrition and wellbeing.

There is no obligation on Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work but we will work with you on allocating shifts.

Requirements

You will have a good standard of education.

Responsibilities

You will drive staff, deliver meals, provide a shopping service and be responsible for allocated vehicles.

The Individual

You will have a full current driving licence, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, health and passenger safety.

You will also have good verbal and written communication skills, numeracy skills, be willing to participate in job related training and to work as part of a team.

You will be able to work weekends.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
