Here at Williams, an independent trade‑only plumbing and heating merchant, we’re looking for a Driver & Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Cambridge!

This is a varied and active role which includes : predominantly delivery driving (70%), and occasionally assisting with warehouse duties (15%) and serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone (15%). If you like having lots of variety in your daily tasks, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!

If you clutter previous exposure working within a plumbing & heating merchant, builders’ merchant or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware or on the tools in the plumbing heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Predominantly delivering plumbing and heating products to our trades customers in the local area.
• Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
• Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
• Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
• Assistingยมกับ the general upkeep of the branch.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a plumbing & heating merchant, builders’ merchant, wholesaler, trade counter, DIY or hardware environment.
• Enthusiastic team player wanting to make a positive contribution.
• Keen to support the team with a flexible approach to daily tasks.
• Ambitious to progress and keen to learn.
