Job summary

A leading automotive logistics company in Portbury Dock is looking for Car Compound Drivers to safely drive and relocate vehicles within the compound. Training is provided, and the work schedule is Monday to Friday with no weekends.

Pay: £12.21 per hour (weekly pay)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

Gi Group is hiring Car Compound Drivers for a leading automotive logistics company at Portbury Dock, near Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for vehicles.

Key Responsibilities of a Driver

• Safely drive and relocate vehicles within the compound and on-site locations
• Perform basic pre- and post-movement vehicle checks
• Park vehicles accurately following site procedures
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Maintain high safety and professional standards

Requirements of a Driver

• Full UK manual driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 points
• Confident driving various vehicles (manual/automatic/electric)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Previous experience in vehicle handling or automotive logistics is desirable
