Job description
Overview

Are you a drama graduate who loves supporting young people? We’re looking for someone with creativity, empathy, and a genuine heart for making a difference. In this role, you’ll support Key Stage 3 and 4 students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as autism and learning difficulties, at a small Church of England secondary school in Bath. The school prides itself on knowing every pupil, nurturing self worth and resilience in a caring, close knit community. Rated Good across the board in its most recent Ofsted inspection—quality of education, behaviour, personal development, leadership—all Good—the school offers a calm, supportive and respectful learning environment where every child can thrive.

Why drama graduates excel here

  • You’re expert communicators—great at using tone, expression and empathy to connect and engage.

  • You read emotion well and adapt quickly, which matters when working with vulnerable learners.

  • You bring creativity and confidence, helping to make learning lively, inclusive, and meaningful.

  • You’re naturally collaborative, supportive, and comfortable leading small groups or one-to-one support.

Details at a glance

  • Hours: Full time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
