We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team. This vital role involves providing personalised care and support to individuals in their own homes, enhancing their independence, safety, and overall quality of life. You will be supporting a range of clients, including seniors and those requiring specialised or end‑of‑life care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in clients’ homes
  2. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
  3. Support with administering medication in accordance with care plans
  4. Monitor clients for changes in health, mood, or behaviour and report concerns promptly
  5. Use safe techniques for moving and handling, including heavy lifting where required
  6. Apply appropriate behaviour management strategies to promote a safe environment
  7. Maintain accurate care records and documentation
  8. Build meaningful relationships with clients through empathy and respectful communication
Requirements
  • Full UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Physical ability to support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience in care is preferred but not required – full training will be provided
  • First aid certification is a plus
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with care practices for seniors, including hospice care
  • Knowledge of dietary needs and meal preparation for clients with restrictions
  • Confidence in medication administration
  • Experience with behaviour management in care settings
