Overview

We're Hiring! - Domestic Violence Specialist 💜

📍 Nottingham City - fully onsite (near Nottingham Train Station)

🕓 37 hours per week | Temporary until March 2026
💰 Salary: £26,705 - £28,340 (depending on qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive support to women affected by domestic abuse.
  • Help survivors find and maintain safe accommodation.
  • Advocate on their behalf with housing teams, social care, health, and justice partners.
  • Work collaboratively within the Safer Accommodation team based near Nottingham Train Station.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience supporting women from BAMER communities experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Knowledge of housing, welfare, and safeguarding.
  • A trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and partnership-working skills.
