Job Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a well-established company!

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive £35,000 - £40,000 PA, Depending on Experience. (£1,200 on-call payments (10 weeks) - £300 - £450 on-call average (based on 20 hours of on-call work))

Location: Cardiff.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

They work with local authorities and private sector companies along with many local business and private clientele.

The company is now looking to recruit an experienced domestic gas engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and servicing of commercial and domestic gas & general plant room equipment.
• Attending reactive, diagnostic and repair calls to domestic & commercial gas appliances and plant.
• Completing associated gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements.
• Emergency call out rota system in place.

Candidate Requirements

• Full driving licence and gas qualifications essential with a minimum of 3 years’ time served experience required.
• Applicants must be an experienced Domestic Gas Heating Service Engineer with good diagnostic/repair skills.
• Experience of press fit pipe fitting, plumbing and domestic installation would be an advantage.
