Job Vacancy: Domestic Assistant / Cleaner

Location: Woodstock Residential Care Home, 80 Woodstock Road, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 4HN.

Contracted hours: 30 hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable)

Hourly rate of pay: £12.50

As the Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, you will enjoy being part of an exceptionally supportive team, welcoming you into providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at Woodstock Residential Care Home. You will play a key role in ensuring our residents, families and visitors receive a positive impression of our Home by keeping it spotless and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Following cleaning schedules and suggesting improvements when it is identified that they would improve practice.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all housekeeping tasks completed.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the health and safety requirements of the role.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the infection prevention and control requirements of the role.
• Experience of working with cleaning equipment and appliances and understanding the risks involved.
