Domestic Abuse Practitioner - Multi Agency Child Protection Team

Salary: Scale 6 (£29,832 - £31,877 per annum)

Hours: 35 Hours per Week

Location: Wildwood (Hybrid working arrangement)

Team: Multi-Agency Child Protection Team

Employment Type: Permanent

The Role

Are you passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families affected by domestic abuse? Join our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) as part of Worcestershire's Family Front Door service. This new team plays a vital role in ensuring children and young people are protected where actual or likely significant harm has been identified.

Responsibilities
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions.
  • Support victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse during child protection enquiries.
  • Contribute to safety planning and make referrals to partner agencies and multi-agency forums such as MARAC.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies, including participation in Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) discussions.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner with experience in domestic abuse interventions and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
