Job description

Document Controller

Location: Mid Kent

35 hours per week (Hybrid Working Model)

Working Hours: 5:00am - 1:00pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-focused individual to join our client on a fixed-term contract as a Document Controller. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of customer records through efficient digitising, indexing, and storing of documents.

What You’ll Do:

  • Digitise and organise documents
  • Ensure all documents meet data protection and compliance standards
  • Check documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Keep up to date with document management processes
  • Support the team with best practices in handling and storing documents

Who You Are:

  • Proficiency with document management systems and scanning technology
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • High accuracy in data entry and record management
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data handling best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude
