Industra is a multi-disciplined, self-perform General Contractor specializing in heavy civil, structural, and municipal infrastructure projects across Canada. We are seeking a senior-level Preconstruction Manager with experience in civil infrastructure and alternative project delivery methods.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Lead the preconstruction process for civil infrastructure projects across various delivery models (Design-Build, CM/GC, P3, etc.).
  2. Oversee project planning, including budget development, cost estimating, schedule creation, risk assessments, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  3. Manage responses to RFQs and RFPs, including developing technical and financial proposals.
  4. Conduct design reviews with engineers, architects, and consultants.
  5. Evaluate and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, procurement, and permits.
  6. Interface with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to align project goals and provide updates.
  7. Lead bid preparations, subcontractor engagement, and project narratives development.
  8. Maintain preconstruction schedules and milestones.
  9. Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of heavy civil construction experience, with 3+ years in preconstruction or estimating leadership.
  • Knowledge of civil infrastructure delivery models including DB, CMGC, and P3.
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as Procore, Bid2Win, Bluebeam, AutoCAD.
  • P.Eng designation is an asset.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
