A healthcare provider in Salford is seeking a highly motivated Band 6 District Nurse to support the Adult Community Nursing Team. The role involves providing nursing care in the community, managing a team, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust – District Nurse Sister/Charge Nurse role. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 District Nurse to join the Adult Community Nursing Team, working flexibly over a seven day period. The Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing is desirable or at least substantial years experience working at band 5 level within the district nursing service.
The Broughton District Nursing Team delivers care between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 in the community of Salford to people in their own homes. We are part of a dynamic, integrated health and social multidisciplinary team delivering high quality care, advice, and support and monitoring to patients, their families and staff within the community settings. You will work under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse Lead to provide care to patients with complex and non-complex needs with the aim of promoting independence and self-management.
You should have excellent communication skills.
