Job description
Overview

The Delivery Technician, working closely with the Customer Care team, will prioritise, handle and implement all dispatches from the PUK factory. This is to support the growth of the business, exceed customer expectations, and grow customer service while maintaining excellent quality and adherence to trade compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to customer requirements.
  • Prepare shipping paperwork, including customs documentation, using prepared templates to deadlines, complete records, understand quality and compliance records, pack boxes and organise collections.
  • Liaise with the various carriers used for delivery to customers right up to the point of delivery.
  • Track deliveries and handle any import clearance delays.
  • Use the company computer systems to maintain accurate records, carry out stock transfers and/or adjustments etc.
  • Be prepared to undertake any internal/external training as required.
  • Be as flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload.
  • Deal with dispatches by post or courier.
  • Proactively contribute to crafting a good team environment.
  • Anticipate and overcome obstacles in the performance of duties.
  • Be resilient, optimistic and open to change.
  • Train and supervise Junior Delivery Technician.

Customer focus driven with the capability to efficiently and accurately handle complex tasks. You will adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of our diverse collaborators. Familiarity with working under deadlines and in a target-driven environment. You model as self-motivated with a positive can-do demeanour, reliable and comfortable working in a changing environment.

For this role, you will need
