Overview

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Dispatch Operative to support the accurate processing, professional packing, and timely dispatch of goods from site. Working within a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will ensure high standards of quality, documentation, and safety are maintained across all outbound logistics activities.


Responsibilities


  • Pack and dispatch goods to meet professional standards and customer expectations

  • Safely load, unload, and move goods using appropriate handling equipment

  • Use woodworking skills to prepare and build secure packaging and packing cases for shipment

  • Maintain stock levels and replenish materials within the dispatch area

  • Process shipping documentation accurately and liaise with other departments and external drivers

  • Follow company Health & Safety procedures and contribute to ongoing improvements in working practices


Requirements

This position would suit an individual with previous experience in dispatch or logistics within a manufacturing setting. It\'s ideal for someone who is organised, hands-on, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and an understanding of health and safety protocols are key to thriving in this role.
