Job Title: Disability Training & Consultancy Specialist

Contract: 6-month fixed term, full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday

Location: Home-based with national travel

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health & Disability Training Specialist to join our team on a 6-month maternity cover basis. This role has a strong focus on delivering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England training, alongside adapting and delivering other disability and inclusion sessions to meet client needs.

Job Summary

This is a fixed-term national role (6-month maternity cover) involving travel across the UK to deliver high-quality training and consultancy services. You will work with a diverse client base, supporting them to embed inclusive workplace practices and strengthen their approach to mental health and disability inclusion.

The candidate must be a qualified and commercially approved MHFA England Instructor, with a proven track record in delivering impactful training and supporting organisations through consultancy.

Specific Responsibilities
MHFA & Training Delivery
  • Deliver MHFA England training courses nationally as the core responsibility of the role.
  • Deliver Medigold Health’s wider training programmes, including neurodiversity disability and mental health training courses, bitesize sessions and webinars.
  • Adapt existing training products to meet the specific needs of client organisations and audiences.
  • Facilitate inclusive, engaging learning for participants at all organisational levels.
  • Use a blend of delivery methods (in‑person, virtual, and supporting resources) to maximise impact.
  • Gather and evaluate learner feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Product Development & Quality
  • Support the development and refinement of Medigold Health’s training portfolio.
  • Keep up to date with developments in mental health, disability, and workplace wellbeing.
Client Engagement
  • Represent Medigold Health professionally when working with clients.
  • Promote the company’s broader training services during delivery and client interactions.
Business Development
  • Promote Medigold Health’s broader training and consultancy services during client engagements.
  • Support the team in identifying new opportunities through relationship‑building and awareness‑raising activity.
Requirements for this role
Essential
  • Accredited MHFA England Instructor, approved for commercial delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering training on disability, mental health, and inclusion.
  • Skilled facilitator, confident engaging diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Willing and able to travel across the UK (including overnight stays).
Desirable
  • Experience of adapting or tailoring training materials for specific audiences.
  • Previous work with occupational health, wellbeing, HR, or EDI teams.
  • Professional training, facilitation, or coaching qualifications (e.g., TAP).
