Directorate Support Manager for Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation

The closing date is 05 January 2026

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join the Neurosciences Directorate and lead the administration team for neurosurgery, paediatric neurosurgery and rehabilitation services.

You will lead a large administrative team and be the key contact between Clinicians, staff and patients across all services. You will be responsible for managing patient pathways to meet Nationally mandated NHS targets and provide daily support to the administrative staff and maintain effective communication across the team.

You will be expected to report on key metrics within the department and present to Trust in various forums.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to develop their operational management and leadership skills.

Main duties of the job

You will provide leadership and management to the administrative teams within the Neurosurgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Services ensuring that key targets are met ton deliver care to our patient groups.

You must be able to undertake the analysis and interpretation of complex information from a range of sources highlighting trends and/or inconsistencies.
