A leading healthcare organization in Manchester is seeking a Director of Workforce and Education to lead the development and strategic delivery of nursing and midwifery services. This role includes responsibilities such as stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and acting as an ambassador for the Trust. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in healthcare, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of care.
The Director of Workforce and Education will lead and support the strategic delivery of the Workforce and Education Trust portfolio which includes planning, development and effective utilisation of the nursing and midwifery workforce, Domestic and International Recruitment and programmes to improve nursing and midwifery retention. The postholder will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination and management of the NMAHP temporary staffing contract/portfolio.
