Director of Maths – King's Academy Ringmer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational professional to lead our Maths Department from 1 September 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for Maths, commitment to improving subject knowledge and teaching practice, and a track record of achieving rapid and sustained progress and attainment for all groups of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the Maths Department to create a positive working environment where Teaching and Learning is the priority.
  • Set and maintain high standards for academic achievement and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the curriculum, ensuring pupils are inspired to learn.
  • Proactively support professional development within the department.
  • Commit to improving practice and pedagogy.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and contribute to pastoral work.
