About the Role:

Based across Cambridge and Chelmsford, you will provide strategic and academic leadership for the Experiential Legal Hub, shaping an impactful and inclusive experiential learning environment at the heart of the Law School. You will lead the development of clinical and practice-based legal education, working closely with academic colleagues and external partners to embed real-world learning across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. During an exciting period of portfolio growth, you will play a key role in strengthening student employability, civic engagement, and the Law School's external profile, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, sustainable experiential learning opportunities.

About you

You will be an experienced legal academic or practitioner with significant expertise in clinical or experiential legal education and a strong record of leadership in higher education or professional practice. With a degree plus PhD or Professional Doctorate, you will bring strategic vision, credibility with partners, and the ability to lead complex initiatives in a collaborative environment. Adaptable and values-driven, you will be motivated by widening participation, access to justice, and creating meaningful impact for students, partners, and the wider community.
