About the role

This is a strategic, high-impact role at McCain, created to accelerate growth and drive commercial excellence across our Retail, Foodservice and QSR channels. As Director, Commercial Strategy and Operations, you'll be at the heart of shaping our commercial vision - turning insight and strategy into tangible growth and long-term market leadership.

You will lead and inspire teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and champion innovative approaches to revenue growth and demand planning, ensuring McCain continues to deliver exceptional results in a rapidly evolving market.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategies to optimise price, product, promotion, placement, and channel mix for maximum revenue and profitability
  • Design and execute commercial strategies informed by deep market insight and customer understanding, including accelerating Commercial One & MCX initiatives
  • Oversee demand planning, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and alignment between commercial and supply chain teams
  • Drive data-led decision-making by tracking KPIs, analysing performance, and investing in high-ROI growth areas
  • Foster collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver aligned, revenue-driving initiatives
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams in RGM, commercial operations, and analytics
  • Manage commercial budgets, ensuring resource allocation prioritises initiatives that directly drive growth
  • Champion innovation in RGM and demand planning through new tools, processes, and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, policies, and industry regulations
What you'll need to be successful
  • Proven experience in commercial strategy, revenue management, operations, or a closely related discipline - operating at a Director, Head of, Controller level already.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth management, pricing, and promotional strategy
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into commercial decisions
  • Proficiency with RGM tools, forecasting platforms, and commercial analytics
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional and global teams

This role is central to embedding best-in-class RGM capability across the business and elevating how we use data to make smarter commercial decisions.
