The Grant Thornton Digital Audit Team (DAT) provides best in class digital products, services and skills to enable the auditors of the future to set the industry benchmark for professional services firms, leveraging digital, data and technology opportunities to be the number one practice for audit quality, client service and operational excellence.

The Data Analyst will be key to the delivery of the data models to facilitate operational reporting and enabling our people to surface key metrics about DAT products, services and skills. We work with cutting edge technology to extract, store, develop, and share this data with the team and the audit practice. A look into the role

As an Digital Audit Team (DAT) Data Analyst you will be responsible for

Responsibilities
  • Data development and visualisation
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of data products, via Microsoft Power BI, to enable audit operational reporting
  • Engaging as an expert user for team projects delivering consistent, scalable solutions for the integration of data, including data held in unstructured formats (spreadsheets, semantic models, etc.)
  • Interacting with the business
  • Engagement with IS and the Data Office teams to ensure consistency of approach and processes
  • Supporting the DAT engagements with product owners to ensure consistency of data integrations and reporting
  • Data consumption and maintenance
  • Supporting and maintaining the data & infrastructure functions within the DAT
  • Utilising the newly deployed Microsoft Fabric environment as part of GT’s cutting-edge database solution

  • Joining us as an DAT Data Analyst, the minimum criteria is that you are driven and determined to find innovative solutions to audit challenges regarding data and infrastructure challenges. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
