We are looking for an experienced Digital Twin Network Product Owner with strong delivery leadership ability, to join our global client in the Telecommunications sector.
Required Skills/Experience
- Hands‑on practical experience as a Product Owner
- Strong history of transitioning trams from traditional waterfall to Scrum Agile frameworks
- Agile certifications
- Experience using agile tools such as Jira or ADO
- Familiar with assisting Development or Delivery teams
- Nature problem solver, happy to roll up sleeves and remove blockers
- Possess in‑depth knowledge and experience of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
- Able to create wireframing and mock‑up of product features with proven experience working as a Product Owner/Business Analyst within an Agile team.
- Capable of explaining complex issues in easy‑to‑digest terms and holding requirement‑gathering workshops to elicit requirements from conversations.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and that solutions meet business needs.
- Possess strong leadership skills to inspire, encourage teamwork and motivate others, while working independently and solving problems creatively.
- Candidate holds a SCRUM Certified Product Owner/Agile Certified Product Manager certification or has a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar subject.
- Knowledge of effective product lifecycle management across a complex environment is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and champion new ways of working while bringing people along with them.
- Significant experience leading high‑performing multidisciplinary product teams delivering at pace.
Job Responsibilities
As a Product Owner, you will define and prioritise product features, gather and work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. Aligning our products with market trends, customer needs, and business goals is crucial to our clients' success. You will be obsessed with creating customer‑centric products that delight our clients end‑users, delivering value often and early.
- Take end‑to‑end product ownership, acting as the primary point of contact for all product‑related matters within I&P.
- Financial Management – Own and manage the product budget and investment. Monitor burn‑rate, runway costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue generation. Lead platform investment discussions and identify investment opportunities. Define and prioritise initiatives, Epics and user stories based on their value, considering the total cost of ownership and return on investment. Provide Finance and Enablement teams oversight of the platform's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Represent and advocate the end user and stakeholder views in the Product teams. Activity participation in sprint planning, review, retros and backlog refinement sessions. Organise and lead PI planning sessions.
- Responsible for the management and reporting on Product backlog in Jira – including backlogs, capacity and sprint planning aligned to business priorities.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to define the platform's vision, roadmap, and priorities, ensuring they align with our business objectives and deliver maximum value.
- Own the demand funnel for your products, clearly understand and track the proposed benefits, investment committed per initiative and Epic.
- Find opportunities to celebrate wins, champion your product and team and build confidence in both.
- Fostering a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, emphasises problem‑solving.
- Evaluating current processes and issues by working with the Lean Specialist & or ABA, mapping value stream and root cause analysis to streamline and drive improvements.
- Continuous Improvement – Collaborate with the Product Owner chapter & Transformation Agile CoE and other relevant stakeholders to implement shared learning, best practices and strategies that improve the Product owner maturity, and performance.
- Ensure all the demand is created in Agile Jira boards, so they are, as much as possible a true reflection of the state of all delivery items.
