Job description

We're looking for a creative, collaborative and forward-thinking Digital Resources Officer to help us enhance the wellbeing, induction and support experience for all Lancaster University students. In this role, you will design and develop engaging digital resources that help students navigate key transitions, understand the support available to them, and feel confident and connected throughout their studies. You'll contribute to digital induction training, create information and guidance materials, and support our wellbeing campaigns and communications throughout the year. You'll work closely with colleagues across Student Wellbeing Services, academic departments and professional services teams to ensure our digital content is inclusive, accessible, high quality and aligned with student needs. You will also gather feedback, analyse engagement data and use insights to continuously improve our digital materials. We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys creating clear, user-focused digital content
  • Understands accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Is comfortable using digital tools and platforms to produce engaging resources
  • Can plan and prioritise work effectively in a busy environment
  • Works well with others and builds positive relationships with students and staff
  • Is committed to supporting student wellbeing and inclusion
    Experience in a higher education or wellbeing setting is welcome but not essential; we welcome applicants from any sector with relevant digital content skills and a commitment to supporting diverse student communities.
