Digital Marketing Manager

2-year FTC (potential permanent)

Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

Location: Belper, Derbyshire

Salary: up to £48,000 + annual company performance bonus

We are supporting a leading UK manufacturing brand as they recruit a Digital Marketing Manager on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This role sits within a high-performing digital team and will take on day-to-day responsibility for people leadership, digital delivery and managing a substantial multi-million-pound budget.

This is an opportunity for someone confident managing upwards, presenting to senior stakeholders and leading a team through an ongoing digital transformation work.

The Role

You will take ownership of key areas of the digital and broader marketing function, including:

Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a growing team (currently 3, soon to be 4).
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and workload management.
  • Support ongoing development and ensure smooth collaboration across the wider digital function.
Digital Marketing Management
  • Deliver the digital marketing plan across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Manage digital performance dashboards, reporting on results, ROI and trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Take responsibility for customer review platforms and support performance insights.
Budget Management
  • Manage a seven-figure budget.
  • Lead forecasting, tracking and ROI assessment across campaigns.
  • Work with agency partners and internal teams on spend allocation and optimisation.
Channels & Delivery
  • Manage paid activity across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (strategic direction; hands-on handled by agency and internal exec).
  • Oversee organic and paid content delivery across relevant channels.
  • Support testing, experimentation and ongoing digital improvements.
  • Contribute to creative strategy in collaboration with wider teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with senior leadership, directors and C-suite.
  • Confidently represent the digital function, share performance updates and manage expectations.
  • Provide clarity on digital strategy and execution.
