Digital Implementation Manager

Home Based

We are looking for a Digital Implementation Manager to be responsible for a team of Digital Implementation Specialists working on onboarding and migrating new and existing clients to our new Digital pension platform.

In this client facing role you will lead in shaping and delivering digital product solutions that enhance member engagement and operational efficiency across our pensions platforms. You will work with clients to develop their online pensions presence and devise both standard and personalised sites for members, employers and through the new mobile app.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams and strategic clients to ensure our digital offerings meet evolving market needs and regulatory standards.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of digital tools and platforms across pension schemes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal standards.
  • Team management of a growing team including recruitment, personal development, coaching and mentoring.
  • Client management including virtual and face to face meetings, handling client queries, presenting demonstrations and.
  • Manage digital content workflows, including CMS configuration, template development, and journey mapping for both members and employers.
  • Collaborate with UX, CX, and technical teams to ensure user-centred design and accessibility across digital touchpoints.
  • Coordinate sprint planning and delivery with development teams, tracking progress and resolving blockers.
  • Own the digital delivery roadmap for assigned schemes, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Support the development and execution of digital strategies, including automated communications, digital reporting, and engagement tools.
  • Act as a key liaison between operations, technology, and client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding of deliverables.
  • Contribute to service assessments, investment cases, and digital strategy documentation.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to internal teams on digital tools and processes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience of managing digital teams in pensions, financial services, or regulated environments.
  • Experience of implementation and/or migration projects for digital platforms/products.
  • Presentation skills to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with digital platforms, member portals, and mobile applications.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable:
  • ADO, Figma and Miro systems knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of DB pension scheme administration and member lifecycle journeys to understand member’s online requirements and how to drive engagement.
  • Exposure to AI-driven product development and automation tools.
