We welcome application from all areas of the community and particularly encourage applications from People of Colour and people who are disabled, who are currently under‑represented in our workforce.

Our commitment to Safeguarding

AUB is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding. We take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk who engage with us, as well as those who work with them.

About the role

We are seeking an Administrator to join our AUB Academy, a dynamic hub of innovation and opportunity, passionately committed to transforming arts education and expanding access to inspiring creative learning for both domestic and international markets.

As the AUB Academy Administrator you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, parents, and visiting tutors, providing excellent customer service across all our programmes.

  • Managing course bookings, database data entry, processing payments, and monitoring enrolments, to ensure smooth operation of short courses, bespoke programmes, and summer course offers.
  • Supporting tutor recruitment, course materials orders and preparation, room bookings, and resource management so every aspect of course delivery runs seamlessly.
  • Liaising with internal AUB departments – HR, Finance, Marketing, and Campus Services – and assisting with event organisation, risk assessments, and compliance with university policies.

You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of bespoke courses aimed at both domestic and international markets, helping to promote inclusive access to arts education.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
  • Highly organised with strong time‑management, written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workloads to tight deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences and passion for creative arts education.
  • Experience in administrative roles within education or a similar environment is desirable.
  • Ability to move course materials and supplies within AUB Academy Media Store on a regular basis.

Ideally the post holder will work morning shifts; however working arrangements can be discussed with the AUB Academy Manager.

Our benefits

In meeting your performance expectations, you'll receive an annual salary increase in line with the grade of your role. An annual cost‑of‑living uplift will be applied, subject to the University’s decision. AUB provides generous holiday entitlement, and you will be enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme (professional services staff) or the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (academic staff) from day one of employment. Additional benefits include subsidised bus travel, cycle‑to‑work and annual savings schemes. For more information, visit our careers website.
