Job description

StrideUp is leading a new era of values-driven finance. Ranked the 5th fastest growing in the UK and Ireland in 2025, we have already deployed hundreds of millions in property finance, supporting people in achieving their financial goals.

What makes us different is how we combine purpose with performance. We began with home finance, creating a shariah-compliant alternative trusted by the Muslim community and welcomed by anyone seeking fairer, more transparent products. This product-market fit has powered our growth, and is only the beginning. Our vision is bigger; to expand our offering and build a financial institution that opens doors for communities often left behind.

Joining StrideUp means being part of a high-performing, values-driven team at the most exciting point in our journey. We have proven success behind us and huge opportunity ahead, and now we are ready to build beyond. Are you?

The role

We’re looking for a full-time Digital Content Creator to help us get thoughtful, useful content out into the world. You’ll be writing blog posts, emails and video scripts, managing our social channels, and keeping our website content fresh and accurate. You’ll also support short-form video ideas, analytics and campaign delivery.

You’ll report into the Head of Marketing and work closely with the rest of the team to make ideas happen. You’ll play an important role in bringing the content strategy to life by writing clearly, staying organised and keeping projects moving.

This is a hands-on role for someone who’s creative, detail-oriented and happy juggling different types of content day to day.

You are

  • A clear, confident writer who knows how to keep things simple
  • Interested in ethical, inclusive and faith-aligned messaging
  • Comfortable managing social channels and engaging with audiences
  • Reliable, organised and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Curious about what makes content perform well
  • Keen to learn more about Islamic finance and financial products
  • Ready to take ownership and get stuck in

What you'll do

  • Write content for blogs, emails, landing pages, social posts and guides
  • Plan, post and manage social media content across channels
  • Script short videos and work with others to bring them to life
  • Keep the content calendar up to date and campaigns on track
  • Build and update automated email journeys
  • Keep website content fresh using our CMS
  • Collaborate with designers, freelancers and compliance reviewers
  • Make sure content is accurate, brand-aligned and shariah and FCA compliant
  • Use analytics tools to report on what’s working and what’s not

Top skills and experience required

  • 2 to 4 years experience in a content or marketing role
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Familiar with tools like Canva, Buffer, MailChimp or similar
  • Some exposure to regulated industries is a plus
  • Comfortable using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Good attention to detail and follow-through
  • Collaborative and easy to work with
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
  • 25 days annual holiday
  • 3% pension contribution
  • Monthly socials
  • Central London location (hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the office)
  • Friendly and informal startup environment with a focus on performance and impact
