The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Digital & Computer Lecturer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching in Computer Science and related courses, including BTEC, T Level and other related vocational programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging computing lessons
  • Monitor student progress and support individual learning needs
  • Support and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching resources
  • Ensure timely completion of course-related administration and quality assurance
  • Promote safeguarding, equality and inclusion in all aspects of the role
Education, Skills and Requirements
  • Degree in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Ability to teach topics including Networking, Security, and general Computing subjects
  • Strong communication, organisation and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
