A prominent healthcare organization in Greater London is seeking a Digital and Transformation Project Lead to manage and deliver key projects within their transformation portfolio. The role involves leading stakeholder engagement, managing project resources, and ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with organizational strategies. Ideal candidates will have experience in the NHS, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This position offers a salary of £56,276 to £63,176 per annum, including a High-Cost Area Supplement.

The Transformation team are responsible for delivering key programmes and projects within our transformation portfolio. These programmes deliver organisational change across clinical, quality, operational, digital and research functions.
The Digital and Transformation Project Lead together with the Digital and Transformation Programme Manager are responsible for the management and delivery of specific cross-cutting projects that form part of the Trusts transformation portfolio to deliver successful outputs, outcomes and realisable benefits on time.

The post holder will take the lead in ensuring that projects deliver the desired outcomes and benefits as defined by the project business case. Focusing on the people, organisational and cultural aspects of change, bridging the gap between the technical / service change and the people and business processes impacted.
Key to this will be to gain buy in from and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, suppliers and partners including clinical, operational, support services, administrators, IT, executive colleagues and patients.
The post holder will lead on assessing requirements, identifying, and articulating 'as is' and 'to be' business processes, being sensitive to the complex contexts within which the changes are to be delivered. The post holder will be the expert, advising the programme / project team on feasibility, challenges and most appropriate change approach to maximise adoption and benefits.
The post holder will lead and facilitate all matters relating to stakeholder engagement, business change, adoption and sustainability, risk and issues management and benefits realisation as part of project implementation. Ensuring that business need, project objectives and organisational strategic priorities align.

Working with the Digital Service Improvement Manager / Digital Innovation Programme Manager to initiate and co-ordinate appropriate project proposals to improve operational performance and clinical service delivery.
Ensure that project objectives, scope, deliverables, critical success factors and risks are identified and defined accurately based on stakeholder / business / organisational need.
Manage activities including any resources (people, materials, equipment, knowledge and time) allocated to its delivery.
Assess service requirements and identify the changes required to the business processes for the delivery of projects, ensuring the interests of sponsors and stakeholders are met by the programme/projects.
Conduct thorough Change Impact Assessments where required to understand implications of change to affected teams.
Support service development resulting from project implementation by reviewing and updating existing Service Operating Procedures and writing required policies and guidelines.
Identify and record potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions escalating when required.
Create and implement change management plans that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance.
Stakeholder mapping and management - understand and address concerns of key user groups.
Lead change management activity staff training, floor walking, supporting change champions, running forums, establishing feedback mechanisms etc.
Lead the delivery of all training to end users and stakeholders planning, delivery, review and evaluation to ensure successful project implementation and sustainability
Carrying out research and development activities to ensure best practice and innovation is embedded across all aspects of the projects and used to inform future developments across the programme of work.
Planning, organising, managing and facilitating stakeholder events and conferences as required.
Working with the data analysts in the team, perform benefits analysis and baseline current system performance before each project starts and ensure there is a plan in place for handover to the operational and clinical leads.
To provide support to co-ordinate the activity of project team members and contributors ensuring that tasks and work packages are completed satisfactorily and on schedule.
Preparation and maintenance of project documentation progress monitoring and reporting, risks and issues logs, action logs and transfer to BAU documentation
