This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team.
Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
This role will be within our Clean Water Delivery Team.
You’ll perform labouring duties as part of a team on the water network, including excavation, pipe laying, and backfilling whilst ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to all company and client protocols.
You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and other contractors to complete projects efficiently and maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
You’ll serve as a professional and approachable representative of Welsh Water, providing clear and courteous communication to customers and the public.
We’ll need you to respond to and resolve customer queries or concerns on-site with a positive and helpful attitude and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including those specific to the water and utility industries.
We’ll need you to be willing to undertake further training and development to advance your skills and career.
Alternatively, experience within the broader utility industry will be highly regarded.
Do you hold a valid StreetWorks ticket (NRSWA)?
Do you hold a valid Water Hygiene certificate?
Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
