Job Introduction
Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join Listers Land Rover Droitwich. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm including 1 in 3 Saturdays.
We offer industry-leading basic salaries & bonus, reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset.
Basic Salary up to £36,000 with OTE up to £46,200 plus benefits.
As a Diagnostic Technician at Listers, you will utilize our state-of-the-art systems to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Land Rover vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal vehicle performance, provide outstanding customer support, and collaborate with different departments to achieve goals.

Role and Responsibilities

Our technicians handle servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
Additional tasks may involve repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
You will be capable of fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
You will understand Customer Satisfaction and its importance.
Training will be provided to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
You will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
Work closely with the workshop team to learn and share knowledge.

About you

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds with experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in talking to you.
Minimum requirements include holding or working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
An MOT License is beneficial but not essential.
A full UK Driving licence is required.
Demonstrating good mechanical and electrical knowledge and a commitment to high standards is essential. We provide the training and facilities to support your career growth.
