Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a well-respected reputable Automotive Workshop, located in Wellington. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work on their own initiative.

Duties
  • Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
  • MOT testing
  • Replacing cambelts and performing gearbox repairs
  • Mentoring apprentices enabling them to develop their skills within the workshop
  • Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements
  • A fully qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A current and valid UK driving licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach
  • Passion for the job and enjoyment of all aspects of work
  • Own vehicle technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £37,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are a 40-hour week, with a half-day on Saturdays.
