We have an exciting opportunity for a NMC Registered Band 6 Nurse to join our Diabetes Specialist Service based in South Staffordshire.
You will join our team of Specialist Nurses, Consultants, Educators, and Administration staff. The aim of the service is to provide Specialist Diabetes support and interventions within the Community and across the primary care network through nurse-led clinics and home visits.
You must have extensive and demonstrable skills specifically in Diabetes management and will ideally hold an accredited course in Diabetes or demonstrate a keen interest in Diabetes management with a keen interest in education, teaching, and mentorship for healthcare professionals and patients.
You will additionally play a key role in supporting and educating patients, as well as community and practice staff to improve the quality of Diabetes care.
This opportunity will support professional development and enhance Diabetes knowledge. Non-medical prescribing, whilst not essential, would be advantageous.
You will be required to travel independently across a large geographical area.
