What you’ll do
  • Lead and Influence Ways of Working – Champion DevOps principles and modern engineering practices across teams, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
  • Build and Optimise CI/CD Pipelines – Design, implement, and maintain pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus, and Maven to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code – Use Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and compliance.
  • Containerisation and Orchestration – Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes, optimising for performance and resilience.
  • Monitoring and Observability – Implement and maintain monitoring solutions with Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Kibana to ensure system health and proactive issue resolution.
  • Continuous Deployment and Release Strategies – Work with tools like Harness to enable automated deployments and advanced release strategies.
  • Security and Compliance – Embed security best practices into pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring adherence to governance and regulatory standards.
What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in DevOps engineering and CI/CD pipeline design.
  • Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Maven, and Terraform.
  • Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Harness for deployment automation.
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Kibana.
  • Strong understanding of cloud‑native architectures and infrastructure automation.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in Agile environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • It would be great if you had any of the following:
    1. Experience with cost optimisation and autoscaling strategies in cloud environments.
    2. Knowledge of security automation and compliance frameworks.
    3. Familiarity with performance tuning and advanced deployment strategies.
