Residential Development Associate – Newcastle/Manchester/Leeds

An established national law firm with a strong reputation in the property sector is looking to appoint a Senior Associate (c.4–6 PQE+) into its specialist Residential Development team.

This role offers the chance to join a large, market‑leading practice acting for many of the UK’s top housebuilders and developers, advising across the full lifecycle of बसु major residential and mixed‑use schemes.

The Opportunity

• Work on high‑value residential and regeneration projects, from site acquisition and planning through to disposal
• Draft and negotiate option and promotion agreements, joint ventures, overage deeds and associated funding arrangements
• Advise on disposals of affordable housing and bulk sales to PRS and build‑to‑rent providers
• Supervise and support Junior Solicitors and Trainees, with genuine opportunities for career progression
• Engage in business development and client relationship management within a dynamic, forward‑thinking team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in commercial property, ideally with residential development experience
• Strong technical knowledge formats and commercial awareness
