Job summary

A global technology advisory firm is looking for a Developer to enhance their Credit Risk Systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a finance institution with strong skills in SQL and PL SQL. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing solutions, conducting system testing, and providing production support. Excellent communication skills and a degree in Computer Science are essential. This role is based in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Knowledge on Murex Limit Controller Risk Configurations, formulae.
• Able to create new LRB requests, LTS scripts.

Responsibilities

• Gather and understand requirements, impact analysis, create comprehensive functional and technical specification document.
• Develop enhancements to the Credit Risk Systems with hands-on development.
• System testing, troubleshooting, code review, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and understand requirements, Impact analysis, create comprehensive functional and technical specification document.
• The development of enhancements to the Credit Risk Systems. This will involve both 'hands on' development as well as working with vendor to deliver the solution.
• System testing, trouble shooting, code review and quality control.
• Managing user’s expectations.
• Offer third line support to the production support team.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Knowledge on Murex Limit Controller Risk Configurations, formulae.
• Able to create new LRB requests, LTS scripts.
• Familiar with MLC components like limits monitor, contributions and limits & exposures of traded counterparties.
• Understanding on the Static Data dimensions.
• Knowledge on Limit operations.
• Strong Datamart skills and understanding on Trade life cycle.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL & PL SQL
• Unix/Linux Scripting
• Experience in Job schedulers like Control-M
• Good Communication skills
