We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Creative Arts and Technology faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a passion for innovation and hands-on learning to help students develop practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a love for design. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:

1. Teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
2. Deliver high-quality lessons in areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or textiles (depending on specialism).
3. Promote safety, creativity, and precision in the workshop or classroom environment.
4. Plan engaging projects that challenge pupils and develop real-world skills.
5. Track student progress and support individual learning needs.
6. Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, or exhibitions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree or specialism in Design & Technology or a related subject.
• Knowledge of current curriculum requirements and industry-relevant technologies.
• Practical experience in workshop tools, CAD/CAM, and design processes.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for creativity, innovation, and inclusive teaching.
