Design Technology and General Cover Teacher – Flexible supply opportunities available immediately

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Launceston and the surrounding areas, covering Design Technology and general subjects as needed.

Duties as Design Technology and General Cover Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Design Technology and other subjects following provided plans
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress where required
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
• Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal Design Technology and General Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology and ability to cover general subjects
• Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
