Job summary

An innovative manufacturing firm in Strabane is seeking a Design Technician to create mechanical and electrical design CAD drawings for LV Switchgear. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Engineering team and ensure compliance with standards while managing documentation accuracy. A HND / HNC in Engineering or relevant design training is required. Qualifications

• A HND / HNC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Design field.
• Ability to interpret and produce Electrical Schematics, Mechanical Layouts, Wiring diagrams and panel assembly drawings.
• Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

• A HND / HNC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Design field,Or Apprenticeship or formal training in design or drafting.
• Ability to interpret and produce Electrical Schematics, Mechanical Layouts,Wiring diagrams and panel assembly drawings
• Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
• Work to exceptionally high standards.
• Working as part of a team.
• AutoCAD, SEE, or EPLAN experience would be advantageous.
