Job summary

A leading construction and property services firm in the UK is seeking a motivated Design Manager to oversee nationwide government projects worth £5m–£20m. The successful candidate will manage the full project life cycle, ensuring design compliance and facilitating continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications, experience in new builds, and strong interpersonal skills. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead critical projects, including a significant £50m Commercial Fit-Out/Refurbishment scheme.

Qualifications

• HNC in Building Studies, Degree in Design Management or Architecture.
• Previous experience in the new build, modular and MOJ projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project team comments and resolve design-related queries.
• Assure compliance of designs through thorough review and validation.
• Champion continuous improvement strategies within the design function.
