A global leader in process heating solutions seeks a Design Engineer in Washington, England. The role involves designing bespoke heating systems, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and using AutoCAD for design documentation. Candidates should have experience in industrial environments and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience, alongside competitive benefits including healthcare and 27 days holiday.
Providing bespoke industrial Process heating solutions, temperature maintenance, environmental monitoring and temporary power distribution solutions extensively within Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and other Industrial environments. Our client is a global business and a world class leader in their field, and have been established for over sixty years.
Due to continued growth they're seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to play a critical role in the design of bespoke industrial / process heating systems, panel board and cable schedules, wiring diagrams, BOMs and location plans. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, or an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who is able to read and interpret engineering drawings (e.g. piping isometric drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs), and/or has working knowledge of basic electrical principals, e.g., Ohm's Law, voltage, amperage, circuits etc..

Salary Up to £50,000 (Depending on Experience) + Competitive Benefits inc. Health Care + 27 days Holiday + Stats. NB: Potential for an element of hybrid working via agreement post induction / onboarding. Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Friday 8.30am to 3.45 pm
