Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer / Power Systems Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of power distribution switchgear and HV systems (e.g. 11kV).
• Holds a formal electrical engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, or Degree).

Responsibilities

Job Description

Electrical Design Engineer / Power Systems Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer required to join a manufacturer and solutions provider specialising in emergency power CHP (Combined Heat & Power) and energy systems based near Rotherham.

The successful Electrical Design Engineer will design develop and support electrical distribution and control systems for power generation projects across the UK ensuring compliance with technical safety and industry standards.

Youll have a strong background in electrical design within the power generation or energy industry with hands‑on experience in power distribution switchgear HV systems and generator applications. EPLAN experience is essential.

Up to 50000 depending on experience

Based near Rotherham
