Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class 3 Registered Building Inspector to take on the role of Design & Compliance Manager within a leading multidisciplinary contractor’s Building Refurbishment Division.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in complex refurbishment projects, including high-rise, retrofit, and listed buildings. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll possess a detailed understanding of Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and PAS 2035 / 2038 standards, ensuring full compliance, safety, and quality throughout all design and delivery stages.

With exceptional attention to detail, you will confidently interpret legislation, contracts, and technical documentation. A proactive mindset will enable you to identify risks early, implement practical solutions, and develop robust processes that ensure successful project outcomes. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as you’ll manage competing priorities while maintaining alignment with compliance and design excellence.
