Job summary

A prominent NHS Trust in Swindon is seeking an experienced Dermatologist for a 24-month locum consultant role to support CESR attainment. The position encompasses a diverse range of dermatology responsibilities, including clinics for skin disorders and inpatient care. Candidates will manage patient care and contribute to departmental objectives while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Essential qualifications include GMC registration and CCT in dermatology or equivalent. The role offers opportunities for professional development and management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the GMC.
• CCT in Dermatology or accredited equivalent, or within 6 months of CCT at interview.
• MRCP (UK) or equivalent.
• Clinical training/experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT.
• Expertise in full range of Dermatological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Multidisciplinary team working with regular MDT discussions.
• Deliver evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Oversee care for patients in your charge, including administrative duties.
• Contribute to teaching and continuing medical education.
• Provide cover for Consultant colleagues as needed.
