An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy ward manager to join the team at Bolton Foundation Trusts Paediatric Unit.
The deputy ward manager will report to the ward manager and assist with the operational running of the Children's ward (E5), Assessment and observation unit (F5), Paediatric HDU and Children's day case. The successful candidate will ensure effective service delivery, ensuring the correct skill mix is provided within the nursing team.
The deputy manager's role will involve carrying out appraisal's, compliance with mandatory training and managing HR processes such as absence meetings, Occupational Health referrals, E roster, ESR, Audits and leading the team in the absence of the ward manager.
