Overview

The Rehabilitation Ward at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Dingwall is looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic Deputy Senior Charge Nurse.

Previous experience as a band 5 for at least 5 years would be essential, and experience in a leadership role is desirable.

Role and responsibilities

The successful candidate would support the senior charge nurse with off duty, staff management, and clinical audits. They would also contribute to the leadership of the ward and the infusion suite/outpatient services.

Requirements
  • Full UK NMC registration is mandatory.
  • Experience as a Band 5 for at least 5 years is essential; leadership experience is desirable.
  • Positive attitude, compassionate, considerate to others, and keen to learn and develop new skills and knowledge to aid professional development.
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients with rehabilitation and palliative care needs. Some knowledge of rheumatoid arthritis and experience with infusions would be beneficial.
